Overview

Mr. O'Neil's practice concentrates on the representation of television, radio, satellite, Internet and telecommunications companies. He has an extensive background in corporate transactions, administrative litigation and FCC licensing matters.

Mr. O'Neil's specific experience includes the negotiation of a multi-party agreement that enabled the FCC to grant orbital satellite locations to each competing satellite applicant, allowing his client to raise substantial financing. He also successfully litigated rule-making proceedings at the FCC to change the community of license for radio stations, which increased the value of clients' broadcast properties.

In addition, he drafts and negotiates purchase agreements for the acquisition of broadcast properties and advises regarding the formation and structure of holding companies.
