Overview
David Kaufman’s practice focuses on wireless telecommunications law, with particular emphasis in the field of radio – including wireless telephony, fixed operations (point-to-point and point-to-multi-point), private radio/public safety operations, wireless broadband (including both broadband radio service and educational broadband service), as well as traditional broadcast services. Mr. Kaufman has broad experience in administrative litigation in matters involving the FCC and other administrative agencies. In addition, he has served as both lead transactional counsel or communications counsel in telecommunications mergers and acquisitions. He also has experience in assisting communications companies seeking to raise debt or equity to fund their businesses.

David Kaufman was an Edmund J. James Scholar at the University of Illinois, from which he graduated in 1973 with a B.A. in History, after three years, with high honors. He graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in 1976.
